As is my habit, I look at various posts on WordPress with the words “atheist” and “atheism” to see what the chatter out there is like. Most post are by Christians who are very afraid of us atheists. To the point they choose to lie to support their fear. They try so hard to make believe that all atheists are nihilists to drive people into their imaginary god’s arms.
Fair warning, this post is long since the truth takes more time and space than lies.
In this episode, we have Christians, Presbyterians like I used to be, intentionally misrepresenting quotes from atheists. Let’s compare what they have with the real quote in context and with what Christianity says about humans.
“What do atheists think about the universe and our little race of advanced primates?

This comes from this article here. Now, what we can read from the actual article is:

It goes on to say how great it is that we are indeed humans, even if we aren’t “special”.

Now, let’s look at what the bible says about humans.
“We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a menstrual rags.
We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.” – Isaiah 64.
This is the same nonsense we see in the NT where we’re told that humans are dogs unless they worship the Christian god. The bible ends where this god murders all non-christians and then works with Satan to corrupt the Christians that are left (Revelation 19-21) That’s quite a god that the Christians have, not caring about humans at all unless they constantly praise it.

Unsurprisingly, this is taken out of context. This is what comes before:

If the universe was just electrons, there would be no problem of evil or suffering.
On the contrary, if the universe were just electrons and selfish genes, meaningless tragedies like the crashing of this bus are exactly what we should expect, along with equally meaningless good fortune. Such a universe would be neither evil or good in intention. It would manifest no intentions of any kind. In a universe of blind physical forces and genetic replication, some people are going to get hurt, other people are going to get lucky, anhyou don’t find any rhyme or reason in it, nor any justice. The universe we observe has precisely the properties we should expect if there is, at bottom, no design, no purpose, no evil and no good, nothing but blind, pitiless indifference. As that unhappy poet A.E. Housman put it: “For Nature, heartless, witless Nature, will neither know or care.” DNA neither knows or cares. DNA just is. And we dance to its music.”
This is what Dawkins does believe in

Maybe all these people, along with the Social Darwinists from Herbert Spencer to John D Rockefeller, committed the is/ought fallacy and justified their unpleasant social views by invoking garbled Darwinism. Anyone who thinks that has any bearing whatsoever on the truth or falsity of Darwin’s theory of evolution is either an unreasoning fool or a cynical manipulator of unreasoning fools. My bold. Again, the scary atheists are acknowledging that our lives have purpose and meaning. And we are daring to say to theists that they and their god aren’t needed for this at all.

Again, beware when a Christian uses ellipses and doesn’t present in context.

Yep, there you have it, folks. Christians make false claims for their benefit. They lie. Nice to see that they ignore their bible when convenient. Our Christians want to quote this “If with merely human hopes I fought with wild animals at Ephesus, what would I have gained by it? If the dead are not raised,“Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”
For they think they have no reason to exist without their god. That’s a shame.

For your last line, I would say it’s more they are so sure an atheists life has no merit as they are without the baggage of a god. They generally tend to think they are just so special because they have an invisible friend…

They are obsessed with unbelief. They quote atheism more than atheists do. Eventually they will become what they despise (maybe they already have) which is the nature of all mass movements. They may not become atheists, but they’ve become what they think atheists are.

Referring to the last days, this can only be speaking of a cashless money society, which has yet to occur, but we are heading towards. Why’s that? Because we would be able to buy or sell without receiving the mark among each other if tangible currency was still around. It logically deduces itself to this end.
The mark can’t be spiritual, because the word references two unique physical locations. If it was spiritual, the text would only conclude one place.
Here is where it really ties together. It is astonishing how specific the word of God is in regards to this RFID chip. Here are some notes from a guy named Carl Sanders who worked with a squad of engineers to help produce this RFID chip in the 90’s.
Mr. Carl Sanders sat in 17 New World Order conferences with heads of state officials such as Henry Kissinger and Bob Gates of the C.I.A. to talk about plans on how to bring about this one-world system. The US government commissioned Carl Sanders to invent a microchip for identifying and controlling the peoples of the world-a microchip that would be inserted underneath the skin with a hypodermic needle(a quick, convenient process that would be gradually received by the people).
Mr. Sanders, along with a crew of engineers behind him, with US grant monies provided by US tax dollars, took on this project and engineered a RFID microchip that’s powered by a lithium battery, rechargeable by the temperature changes in our skin. Without having understanding of the Bible (Brother Sanders was not a Christian at the time), these men spent one-and-a-half-million dollars conduction research on the best and most convenient place to have the RFID microchip inserted below the skin.
Guess what? These researchers found that the forehead and the back of the hand(the two places Revelation says the mark will be received) aren’t only the most convenient spots, but are also the only viable places for constant, consistent temperature changes inside the skin to recharge the lithium battery. The RFID microchip is approximately 7 millimeters in length, .75 millimeters in diameter, about the dimensions of a grain of rice. It’s capable of storing pages upon pages of data you. All your basic data, work history, crime records, health data, and financial information may be saved on this chip.
Brother Sanders believes that this RFID microchip, which he regretfully helped design, is the “mark” described in Revelation 13:16-18. The original Greek word for “mark” is “charagma,” which is defined as a “scratch or etching.” It’s also fascinating to be aware that the number 666 is a word in the original Greek language. That word is “chi xi stigma,” with the end part, “stigma,” also meaning “to stick or prick. Carl believes this is alluding to the use of a hypodermic needle being poked into the human flesh to insert the microchip.”
Brother Sanders asked a doctor what would take place if the lithium contained inside the RFID microchip leaked into the human body. The doctor responded by saying a terrible sore would appear in that spot. This is what the scriptures of Revelation 16:2 has to say:
“So the first angel poured his bowl on the earth, and a nasty and terrible sore appeared on the people who had the beast’s mark and worshipped its image” (Revelation 16:2 CEB).
The Bible tells us that we cannot buy or sell without receiving the mark, or the number of its name. This number is identified as 666. The scriptures tell us to calculate the number 666. How do we calculate 666?
This is where it gets really interesting. Calculating the number 666 has been long debated throughout the history of the world, but has now been unveiled in these final times by the revelation of God. What you will see confirms itself with the holy scriptures the real meaning to count 666.
Throughout the Bible, God uses the number 3 as confirmation of things. Here are a few examples:
“For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one” (1 John 5:7 NKJV).
“and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Corinthians 15:4 NKJV).
“…Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!” (Revelation 4:8 NKJV).
What is interesting is the the mark is revealed in detail in 3 separate verses (Revelation 13:16,17,18), and each verse lists three different examples of the given topic. The last three being the number six used 3 times in a row. Here is a key point to unlocking how to count the number 666.
What does it mean to count the number of the beast, 666? It means to add up. So how could we add up 666? Remember my prior key point about God confirming in 3’s. So logically, what would be the most reasonable way to count the number 666? To count it equally in threes based off the number. It is not reasonable to count it equally as 600+60+6, this would also take us back to the beginning. We are not able to count it as 600+600+600, or 60+60+60, because there are no zeroes in between or at the end of 666. The only reasonable explanation we are left with is 6+6+6=18. What is interesting is that the verse that reveals for us to count the number itself is verse 18, being the 3rd verse out of 3 verses that describe the mark of the beast. Now what is 18 divided by 3? 6. So 3×6=18, or 6+6+6=18.
Another fascinating point is that the two other combinations (bringing a combined total of 3 possible combinations) for moving the plus symbol in between the 6’s are 66+6=72, and 6+66=72. Count up both 72’s together and you get 144. Why the number 144 is interesting is because the verse following Revelation 13:18 is the first time in the Holy Bible where the 144,000 are being mentioned in detail:
“Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads…” (Revelation 14:1).
If we add up all 3 numbers by counting 666 by moving the plus symbol around in all 3 possible combinations, it would be 72+72+18=162. What is fascinating about the number 162, is, if you divide 144,000 by 162, you get 888. The name for Jesus in Greek gematria adds up to 888. The New Testament was originally written in Greek. Revelation 14:1 not only mentions the 144,000, but also the Lamb being Jesus Christ.
Now what is fascinating about the number for Jesus, 888, is that if you apply this same formula, you get 8+8+8=24. Why the number 24? Revelation chapter 4 tells us there are 24 elders seated around the throne of God. This is the same throne where Jesus sits:
“Immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne set in heaven, and One sat on the throne. And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had crowns of gold on their heads” (Revelation 4:2-4).
Now if you take 8+8+8=24, and 8+88=96, and 88+8=96, you get 24+96+96=216. Take 144,000 divided by 216 and you get 666. Keep in mind that this was the exact formulation to get the number 162 out of counting 666 that brought about the number 888 when dividing 144,000 by 162. It is perpetual.
With making use of the same formulation of counting by adding the “+” symbol in between the numbers, why do all these numbers relate in such a manner?
Yet another fascinating point to note is that if you add up all the numbers from 1 to 36, it totals 666. The number 36, as in three sixes? Might this be a sign that we must add up three sixes rather than perceiving the number as six-hundred sixty six?
So what may this suggest? We know in this world we’re recognized by numbers in various forms. Starting from our birth certificate to social security, as well as our drivers license, being identified based on a system of ruler ship. So, why do we need Jesus?

Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
By doing so we will become transformed into the image of God through faith in His Son Christ Jesus Who is inclined to present the Holy Spirit to whoever ask of Him:
“Most assuredly, I(Jesus) say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ (John 3:5-6).

Jesus says, “but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him(the Holy Spirit) will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
Did you know that Jesus spoke more about hell than any one else in the Bible, even more than He spoke about heaven?! For this very purpose He was brought forth to die for us, to deliver us from this place that we deserve.
He describes hell as a actual place where,
“Their worm does not die
And the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:44).
And where,
“There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth…” (Luke 13:28).
Jesus tells us who to fear,
“And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew 10:28).
