No So Polite Dinner Conversation – more nonsense about atheists from a Christian

I replied to a rather pretentious set of claims by a christian, as you’ll see at the bottom of this post.

Well, I was a christian and now am an atheist. Our minds are quite open despire the false claims of christains like you. You have baseless claims that you cannot show are true, so your demands that other acknowledge them is just silly, one more theist who demands people agree with them, and they have no better evidence than all of the theists they claim have nothing.

Considering how each christian invents their own god, that wants a certain set of morals, and who can’t agree on how to interpret their bible, there is no reason to assume any of you know any more about your god, or christianity, than the next. Out of the dozens and dozens of versions of christanity, which is the right one? Any? None? That not one self-professed christain can do what jesus promises per the bible, it seems you have quite a problem.

Unfortunately for your false claims, atheism is neither fashionable or easy, considering how theists have murdered us over their baseless nonsense. We don’t believe in your god since you have no evidence and you can’t agree on your nonsense. We also don’t “do what we want” since we follow the laws of society for the vast majority of atheists. That you christians can’t even agree on what your god considers a sin, no reason to believe your nonsense. It’s great to see a christian lie and claim that science is “pseudo science” when it shows that their lies are wrong, but who have no problem using it when it makes them comfy. You are quite a hypocrite.

Unsurprisingly, our lives aren’t without meaning, and we make our own meaning, your imaginary friend and you aren’t needed. That last is probably what bothers you most, that no one needs you to have a good life. And yep, life will end and we will have enjoyed it. You will be left waiting for your sadistic little fantasies about the end times, which will never happen. Your iamginary friend conforms to every christian’s perception, since, again you all make your god up in your images.

You aren’t aware of anything that can’t be seen. You simply make it up.

Really now, God is quite capable of proving his existence. The question I have for nonbelievers is why do you expect me to explain God? There is a chasm of emptiness in unbelief- trying to bring God down to human standards of proof and evidence. Faith has nothing to prove; God is beyond understanding. Yet we can know HIm and He knows us.”
