A christian nationalist young women, MJ, has appeared on my blog before. She tried so very hard to cast me as hating veterans and the military. Alas, that doesn’t work well with a young woman who supports the orange rapist. (memes at the bottom)
Here’s my response to her attempts to take the high ground and ending up back in the mud:

Curious how you complain here and surprise, the orange rapist has no probelm disrespecting the military on Memorial day and demands a parade forcing them to march for his birthday. Anyone who actually serves has no desire to be in their dress uniform in a parade in 90+ degree weather and 90+% humidity.

Again, Vance’s awards aren’t hard to get. He wrote PR from a tent. That’s what he got the navy/ marine achievement medal for. Literally, he did his job, perhaps better than usual, but no evidence of that, and got a medal. These are all no more than the typical “atta boy” nonsense given for morale. Your dad seems to be pulling your leg. None of these are hard to get.

These reports shall be given careful consideration and, if appropriate, a Meritorious Mast will be Awarded. (Battalion Order 1650.0 Personal Awards)
This is literally what a Mast says ““DURING THE PERIOD OF (MONTH AND YEAR) THROUGH (MONTH AND YEAR), (GRADE AND NAME) PERFORMED (HIS/HER) DEMANDING DUTIES IN AN OUTSTANDING MANNER WHILE SERVING AS (COMPANY), HEADQUARTERS BATTALION, TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.”” “
A Meritorious Mast may help to get a promotion if you have it in your record, but it is not a promotion.
Now, that you simply make up things, it seems that you have no respect for the military, MJ.

I do love to see just how MJ loves trump who hates the troops and has shown it many times. She also hates people of a different color than she is. Such a nice comment about “new pakistan” to show her as a typical Christian nationalist.

I have a question. The other day I was listening to David Bowie’s Space Oddity and there is a line where he says, “and may God’s love be with you.” Over the years I have read many interpretations in the bible about God getting revenge, hurting people. We all know of Noah’s tale, the 10 plaques of pestilence. and so on. My question: Are there any stories in the bible where God actually gives someone love. I don’t mean sparing their life after learning a lesson. Just love out of nowhere for no reason.

hmm, good question. I can’t think of a single time. everything makes either no sense or is entirely transactional. this god is quite up with the threats, the lies and the ignorance. Eve and Adam were created just so it could be worshipped. tihs god showed pointless preference with Abel and knew what would happen. It did a flood and managed to hire a old drunk who cursed his grandchild. it hired moses, a murderer and for some reason got upset with him to the point this god wanted to kill Moses so he had to be smeared with penis blood to stop that from happening. He killed uzzah for nothing, and the same with david’s son, rather than killing david. Then we get the whole “follow these laws….ooopsie, just joking” and the blood sacrifice by torture. as a big wrap up, no love in Revelation either, wiht this god intentionally freeing satan, aftet this god kills every non-christian, so this god can have another bloodbath with the corrupted christians.

This (career) veteran would like to vehemently disagree with said “MJ.”
I have been reading and responding to this blog (Club Schadenfreude) for years. Not one time have I ever, EVER, witnessed comments I would consider inappropriate concerning vets. NOT ONE!
Beginning in mid-May of each year I campaign to get people educated that it is inappropriate to use the phrase or greeting “happy” Memorial Day (formerly known as Decoration Day).” Think (please).
MJ’s site forbids the ad hominem fallacy in blog comments. Good. But apparently, this applies neither to the owner of the blog nor to anyone named Vel.
I left a comment for MJ asking how the blogger knows that awards and decorations are more difficult to receive in the Marine Corps than in other services. Maybe a USMC vet told her that.

Yep. Noticed. I have several Marines in my family, and I have worked with and for enough of them to suspect the (probable) source of her claim. Sometimes silence speaks loud and clear. 🙂

here’s MJ’s attempt to defend her nonsense: “I’m allowing this comment of yours to be posted because I want everyone (especially the people who come here from your blog) to see your true colors of how little you actually respect our veterans. While there are definitely medals that are easy to get, there are others that are extremely hard to get, something you don’t seem to understand.
And frankly, I’m more willing to listen to someone who actually went through Marine Corps bootcamp and infantry training, later became a Corporal, and got a Meritorious Mast than someone who thinks that regurgitating CNN talking points and throwing strawman arguments at people is being brace. Before you go throwing this crap out there and if you care so much about veterans, I suggest you go to your local VA and talk to some veterans and ask how easy it was to get their medals. Heck, maybe tell them what you told me if you want to be really gutsy. And while you’re at it, read the book Stolen Valor by B.G. Burkett while you’re at it, as it will show you what the military experience really looks like.
(P.S. as for not including Russia, I didn’t include it because nobody – Right or Left – would ever want to move to Russia because it’s Russia. Enough said. The places I did include, I included because they’re place that the Left idolizes.)”
