Not So Polite Dinner Conversation – that whole “fool” thing.

Many theists love to call those outside of the religion “fools”. They can’t show that their gods exist, but we are to be considered fools for not agreeing with them.

A rather silly Christian, Ryan, is sure we are fools and yet he doesn’t know what’s in his own bible. The following is a response to his questions. Again, not much new. Memes at the end if you want to just scroll down.

“What is the purpose of condemning “fictional characters?” It gives you nothing. I gain nothing for condemning Bowser for his actions against the Mushroom Kingdom. You made the claim that God kills children for things they didn’t do. What is your proof? Am I good with being killed for something you did? No, certainly not.”

The purpose is to show how our morality works.  If I find a fictional character reprehensible, then I would also find a real character reprehensible.  I find your god reprehensible, whether it is real or not.

It’s hilarious how you ask me for what my proof is that your god kills children for things they didn’t do.  It’s the bible, dear, you believe that is true, right?  How about we look at where your bible does exactly this?

11 Thus says the Lord: I will raise up trouble against you from within your own house; and I will take your wives before your eyes, and give them to your neighbor, and he shall lie with your wives in the sight of this very sun. 12 For you did it secretly; but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.” 13 David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” Nathan said to David, “Now the Lord has put away your sin; you shall not die. 14 Nevertheless, because by this deed you have utterly scorned the Lord,[a] the child that is born to you shall die.” 15 Then Nathan went to his house.

The Lord struck the child that Uriah’s wife bore to David, and it became very ill. 16 David therefore pleaded with God for the child; David fasted, and went in and lay all night on the ground. 17 The elders of his house stood beside him, urging him to rise from the ground; but he would not, nor did he eat food with them. 18 On the seventh day the child died.” 2 Samuel 12

here we have your god killing a child for what David did and saying it will have david’s wives raped for what David did.  Curious how this god doesn’t do this to David himself.

29 At midnight the Lord struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the prisoner who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of the livestock. 30 Pharaoh arose in the night, he and all his officials and all the Egyptians; and there was a loud cry in Egypt, for there was not a house without someone dead. “ Exodus 12

Here your god murders children, and others, for the pharaoh not obeying him.  Now, why doesn’t Pharoah obey this god?

21 And the Lord said to Moses, “When you go back to Egypt, see that you perform before Pharaoh all the wonders that I have put in your power; but I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go. 22 Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord: Israel is my firstborn son. 23 I said to you, “Let my son go that he may worship me.” But you refused to let him go; now I will kill your firstborn son.’”” Exodus 4

Your god mind controls the pharoah to have an excuse to commit murder.

21 And all flesh died that moved on the earth, birds, domestic animals, wild animals, all swarming creatures that swarm on the earth, and all human beings; 22 everything on dry land in whose nostrils was the breath of life died.” Genesis 7

Your god murders everything on earth, rather than oh, just the “wicked”.  What was the purpose of drowning animals?

“The Israelites took the women of Midian and their little ones captive; and they took all their cattle, their flocks, and all their goods as booty. 10 All their towns where they had settled, and all their encampments, they burned, 11 but they took all the spoil and all the booty, both people and animals. 12 Then they brought the captives and the booty and the spoil to Moses, to Eleazar the priest, and to the congregation of the Israelites, at the camp on the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.

Return from the War

13 Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the congregation went to meet them outside the camp. 14 Moses became angry with the officers of the army, the commanders of thousands and the commanders of hundreds, who had come from service in the war. 15 Moses said to them, “Have you allowed all the women to live? 16 These women here, on Balaam’s advice, made the Israelites act treacherously against the Lord in the affair of Peor, so that the plague came among the congregation of the Lord. 17 Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known a man by sleeping with him. 18 But all the young girls who have not known a man by sleeping with him, keep alive for yourselves.” Numbers 31

your god commands genocide here, and demands its share of the little girls.

25 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 26 “You and Eleazar the priest and the heads of the ancestral houses of the congregation make an inventory of the booty captured, both human and animal. 27 Divide the booty into two parts, between the warriors who went out to battle and all the congregation. 28 From the share of the warriors who went out to battle, set aside as tribute for the Lord, one item out of every five hundred, whether persons, oxen, donkeys, sheep, or goats. 29 Take it from their half and give it to Eleazar the priest as an offering to the Lord. 30 But from the Israelites’ half you shall take one out of every fifty, whether persons, oxen, donkeys, sheep, or goats—all the animals—and give them to the Levites who have charge of the tabernacle of the Lord.”” Numbers 31

So, there is my “proof”.  You are a typical hypocrite, not wanting to be killed for the acts of others but you have no problem when your god does exactly that.

Yes, there is a thing such as innocent and guilt, and yes, that is an opinion.   I argue since your cult’s morals cause real harm.   I have empathy and self-interest and that includes children and what happens to them.  That you have neither is typical for a Christian.

Then you lie about taking morals from judeo Christian worldview, when mine is far less vile than that.

It’s great that you try to claim that copies of baseless claims somehow make those claims true.   There is no argument that a general exists since that is nothing special.  You can’t show your man/god exists and that is indeed something unique.   There is no reason to believe magic happens.

Wesley Huff is just another fraud who claims that only his version of the cult is the right one.   He makes claims that have been shown as wrong, and unsurprisingly, he would have never admitted he was wrong until he was shown as a liar.

The bible does not hold logic or reason since it repeatedly contradicts itself. I’ve read it, and I know you simply lie, Ryan.   Christians themselves can’t agree on what the bible actually means.   Is it predestination or free will?  How is one saved?  What does baptism do and how to do it?  What laws are to be followed?

Then you try to claim that everything needs a cause, but of course, you have to use special pleading to claim your god does not.  Nothing shows your god exists at all.   I have evidence that the big bang happened and that something can come from nothing.  Current quantum physics research shows that to be the case.  Your silly bible claims that your god made stars and that they are little lights on a solid dome that can be knocked off.  We know that is not the case.

C.S. Lewis is hilarious since he advocates lying in Mere Christainity, which goes against what this god supposedly wants.

“And secondly, I think we must admit thatthe discussion of these disputed points has no tendency at all to bring an outsider into the Christian fold. So long as we write and talk about them we are much more likely to deter him from entering any Christian communion than to draw him into our own. Our divisions should never be discussed except in the presence of those who have already come to believe that there is one God and that Jesus Christ is His only Son.”

A lie of omission is still a lie.  And the problem of pain is just typical excuses on why to believe in a vicious god that does nothing.   I have no need to believe in a god that is so petty that it needs to torture people.   His claims that some being has to be he source of morality is also great fun since Christians can’t agree on what morals it even wants nor can they show that morality is objective or their god exists to give it.

Despite your claim you can easily show your god exists, you have not.  You simply try to blame me, saying that I don’t want to see it.  This makes me more powerful than your god since I can deny it.  How curious.

I don’t deny your imaginary friend because I want to live my life as a god.  That is a common  lie from Christians.  I am not a god nor do I want to be a god.  I live as I see fit, and you have yet to show any god exists at all that I should obey.  You offer nothing.

A blade of grass is a great example of evolution, not your god.  You can’t show that your god has done anything, and claims of design always fail since Christians claim that the “fall” changed everything.  What you claims to see is not what this god wanted.  You also have quite a problem in that this god, if the designer, managed to make the sun give us cancer, and the human body to guarantee that thousands of humans choke to death every year.

A watch shows design.  Reality, at best, shows an idiot or malicious designer, which is not what christains claim their god is.

A fool does act imprudently.  Nothing shows that I do by not believing in your imaginary friend.  I care deeply about the consequences of my actions.  I simply do not believe your baseless claims concerning them.  I comprehend my worldview just fine, and I also comprehend yours.  You can’t show your worldview is true.

My moral stance is not irrelevant.  Your baselessly declaring that doesn’t make it true.  My moral stance is relevant to me and everyone around me.   I don’t need your imaginary friend to make it relevant.

Again, show that morality is objective.  Show that your god exists, and show how you know what morals are approved by your god.

That you don’t grasp something is not my problem.  The translations of the bible are all different, and yes, each does start with the original koine Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic.  Each translator claims to have the only right versions and all claim to have help from the “holy spirit”.  Curious how that imaginary entity gives them all different answers.

There are at least four different “bibles” when it comes to what books are in them, the catholic bible, the protestant bible, the Coptic bible and the orthodox bible.   Your ignorance about other versions of christianity is typical.

Christians do not agree on how their imaginary friend created the universe. They do not agree on what parts are to be taken literally, as metaphor, as exaggeration, as hyperbole, etc.   They do not agree on original sin.  They do not agree on who is saved and how they are saved.

Nothing shows that jesus christ existed much less “defeated death”.   You have to claim that this nonsense is “enough for you” since your god does nothing that you can actually demonstrate.  Curious how “once upon a time” this god actually did things to benefit its followers and now it does literally nothing.  Your sycophantic nonsense that only your imaginary friend is entitled to anything is typical, and false.

nice lies about my response, dear.  It’s always sweet when christains are incompetent at their attempts at gaslighting.  Respect is earned, and you have yet to do that.  You try to lie to hide behind manners when you have nothing.
