What the Boss Likes – the protest and embroidery

So, I went, didn’t stay for long and helped out an anxious young woman, who was rather like me when I was young, navigate the crowd to find her friends. Lovely day here in Harrisburg, if a bit windy.

I’ve completed a few more embroidery projects on a denim jacket I got from a thrift store. The back of the jacket is symbols of the elements, and a eclipse with a symbol for Lilith. If i believed in the myths, I’d go with her. You’ll also see a small snow leopard.

The sleeve shoulder is Sekhmet, the egyptian goddess of war, healing and drinking beer.

I’m figuring on doing a raven for the other shoulder. May as well go with as many mythos as possible.

Addendum: I just found out that the tasty toasted coconut marshmallows that are often out for Passover are made from fish gelatin. I guess if you want to have marshmallows along with your hot chocolate…
