Two cults, fighting over a piece of ground that they are sure they are the “rightful” owners of per their imaginary friends. and another cult cheering them on thanks to their sadistic end times fantasies.
This is why religion needs to be countered with reality.
I agree. I was asked yesterday why they cannot get along (they can, but won’t). I said, “religion.” In fact, without religion, who would want it? I admit that there are culture and national issues here, but the genesis is still religion.
However, it is also true that humans seem to need little reason to harm other humans; to destroy, break, pollute, and/or burn anything.
We are a sorry lot.
It is a good thing god is on our side. 🙂

Contrary to what many people say, I consider it possible that Israel and Palestine could be at peace with each other, but the problem is neither of them seem to want it. Their religions certainly don’t help.

Could, but will not. The outcome is the same.
I don’t see your consideration as contrary at all. 🙂

God must need more Martyrs and Angels in Heaven. Wonder what he will use them for?
Seriously, it comes down to My god can beat up Your God.
Religion is never the answer.

Yep. My imaginary friend is better than your imaginary friend. How much death and destruction through history because of it? How much more death and destruction do we really need based on that?
Insanity.

What’s up friedshueman? I kinda miss your banter.
Too bad you don’t control the depth, cause this site could use a whole lot of it.
At least you still control the up and down, though.

Enough with the shuemen-antics!

Ben, you do such a great job of showing how petty and ignorant christians can be. No idea what you are nattering about with “friedshueman” and “shuemen-antics”.
it’s notable that you seem to be desperate for my attention. Tsk, much the same post with in four minutes of each other. and from two different email addresses.
and of course, Ben can’t show that I’m wrong at all in the blog posts he’s chosen to comment on, unable to give any refutation.
