There are some who while living there life from childhood through adulthood to death (to the eyes of the world) get a hope (not mere desire) of joyfully living for ever as they feel with each death of others a good riddance (hint of sinfulness).
Since your hope is limited, it just shows that much only you deserve in God’s justice if He exist and if He is impartial. Needless to say you are not convinced by the God out of Mercy that the only existing reality is God and everything else are His live works/magic/materialisation and this life span is to create suitable adults (gods) to live up for ever, rest serve as mere tools for teaching appropriate lessons, nevertheless they are also lived up as they live now as gods till death. Because of insufficient truthfulness many cannot be convinced without affecting their apparent freedom and joy the Truth as for them then there is no freedom besides, once they get a hint they try to appease their conceived deity thus furthering the lose of freedom; as a human in God’s best design they are to enjoy the life the way they live now as if god, for which He make with His omnipotence his creation ineligible to live for ever to be sure of God as nonexistent.
Thus if you cannot hope anything better than eternal death, do not worry, impartial God is just and do not want you to be troubled beyond your means with the feeling of a treasure lost, because it is the same God who give you appropriate knowlege and logic to justify your hope, but for the fear of accusation of predetermination He simply hides the Truth for your comfort.
