Dan Rather has a good article on just how pathetic maga losers like Joni Ernst are.

“Since Donald Trump was sworn in on January 20, members of his own party have been hard-pressed to defend his indefensible executive orders and legislation benefiting millionaires and billionaires, while hurting poor and working-class Americans. So much so that Republican lawmakers have been ducking and dodging town halls so as not to get caught having to spin the unspinnable.

Apparently Iowa Senator Joni Ernst didn’t get the memo. Or maybe she thought by scheduling a town hall on a Friday at 7:30 a.m., no one would show up. She was wrong.

So there she was at the crack of dawn last Friday in rural Parkersburg, Iowa, population 1,983. As Ernst was explaining the cuts to Medicaid in Trump’s “big beautiful bill,” a member of the audience and likely constituent yelled out, “People will die.” Ernst dismissively responded, “Well, we all are going to die,” which earned her loud boos and jeers. Trying and failing to mollify the crowd, she glibly added, “Oh, for heaven’s sake, folks.”

But she wasn’t done shoving her foot in her mouth. On Saturday, Ernst posted a bizarre “apology” video on Instagram, which she shot … in a cemetery! In the stunningly flippant video, she said, “I made an incorrect assumption that everyone in the auditorium understood that, yes, we are all going to perish from this earth. So I apologize, and I’m really, really glad that I did not have to bring up the subject of the tooth fairy as well.”

Ernst, a self-described evangelical Christian, added, “For those that would like to see eternal and everlasting life, I encourage you to embrace my Lord and savior Jesus Christ.” – Why You Gotta Be So Mean?

yep, this is actually true. the maga losers claim it was a “joke” which means at best this idiot was joking about people losing all they have and dying.

      1. I do actually know some good Christians. None of them are MAGA. Also, they aren’t trying to force me to change my beliefs or ruin my life, either!
