What the Boss Likes – the October 18 No Kings rally

Just thought I’d share some pictures.

the Crowd, which got larger during the two hours the rally was for. It was between 3500-4000 people. The Pennsylvania Capitol is a very pretty building.

I wanted to go in an inflateable suit, a la the Portland frog, but that didn’t get to me in time. So here’s me in my witchy best since I had the stuff lying around. It was a lovely day.

And just so you can see it, here’s the inflateable bear costume I got. I wanted to carry a sign that had “choose the bear” on it riffing on the man vs bear internet meme. The silly thing is huge, about 7 feet tall. I got it on temu for not much. My face is a little above where that dark window is under the bear’s chin. Unfortunately, I know I’ll have a chance to wear it in the future.
