So, I think we got about a foot of snow here. I needed to walk to work to check on things, and think I found a water main break on the way. I’m feeling pleased with myself in doing my civic duty and reporting it to the local gov’t. With these frigid temps, the street will shortly be an ice skating rink. I feel sorry for the poor folks who will have to be out in this to fix it.

Pipes so easily freeze during frigid winter weather. Hopefully they were able to quickly fix the water main break.

it ended up being a break on a lateral going to a house, rather than the main line. of course the water all flowed down the street and made it look much worse.
