Not So Polite Dinner Conversation – answers frauds don’t want

Mark Tapscott, a Christian at HillFaith, again wants atheists and agnostics to “consider life’s biggest questions“. Of course, Mark doesn’t want actual responses since he is a fraud and a coward. But let’s give him some anyway.

This is the same old crap christians, and plenty of other theists, trot out from time to time. Nothing new, memes at the bottom if you just want to scroll down.

It’s notable how christians find they must lie so often. What Christians claim as miracles are not, and it’s typical for a christian to try to convince themselves everyone agrees with them. They also assume that only their particular version of a particular god is the right one. All with no evidence at all.

“Something can come from Nothing. “Nothing” as in no energy, no alien forces, not even a single molecule, atom, photon, electron or neutron.”

Curious how christians claim their god either always existed or came from nothing. Why can’t the laws of physics also be “eternal”? Why can’t energy be eternal?

“Order can come from Chaos, spontaneously or in response to something (but that something cannot be God).”

Again, why not? Christians claim your god was order that either always existed or came from chaos.

“Life can develop from Non-Life. See that busted chunk of concrete over there on the sidewalk? Given enough time, life can, somehow other than God, emerge from that inanimate, non-breathing, non-thinking, immobile chunk of non-life.”

Again, the christian shows that he is ignorant of many basic things. Energy put into a system causes order. So, until that “chunk of concrete” has something acting on it, it will never become alive. It’s notable how these frauds have nothing but god of the gaps arguments. They can’t show their god exists nor can they show that life can’t come from not life. We may never completely figure abiogenesis out. that doesn’t mean their imaginary friend exists.

“Personal out of Non-Personal. That busted chunk of concrete? Stick around and eventually it will tell you its name. Or somebody living 3.99999 trillion years from now.”

Funny how no one claims that. It’s hilarious how these christians make up strawmen to attack. Curious how yet again, they claim that their god can do this but nothing else. That’s called special pleading.

“Reason derives from Non-Reason. If there is no absolute truth, how can that be?”

Nothing says there is no truth. The christian has a problem in that his cult, and its many versions, has no evidence of being any kind of truth at all.

“Morality from Amorality. Hey, whatever floats your boat, baby!”

Again, more lies from an incompetent Christian. Morality comes from humans and it helps us interact. No god needed and these christians can’t even agree on what morals it wants. They also must excuse it when it fails the morals they assign to it.

  1. They talk about “life’s biggest questions” and then trot out twaddle like this. How about questions like “How should I live my life?” “How can we construct peaceful, prosperous societies that still allow personal freedom?” “How do we balance the needs of the many against the needs of the few” “What is the best way to sort out what’s true about the world around us?”

And the questions they do ask should be phrased as “how?” questions, and instead they insist on making them “who?” questions.

      1. I should call it the “Jeopardy!” fallacy. If you’ve watched the show, for Final Jeopardy the contestants never ever forget to phrase their response in the form of a question. And that is because the showrunners make sure of it! During the commercial break, while the contestants are working out how much to bet, they are also provided with the first word of the response to write down, so they already know whether their response starts with “who” or “what”. Watch and you’ll see that even the ones who don’t write down a question will still have that first word written down. It’s given to them.

          1. They are careful not to give the contestants any other information that you don’t see from viewing the show at home, but they do get that one hint. It would be embarrassing for the show if a great contestant were to lose in the final round because they forgot to phrase it as a question.
