A very tattered little cat showed up in my garden. I’m doing my best to fatten her up and get her fur back into shape. Gave her worm and flea medicine. I’ve called her Ember since she’s a tortie. She’s finally allowed me to pet her a little.
please folks, get your critters spayed/neutered.

she’s quite the little thing. She’s decided she loves my husband. I had to play the touch me not game but she went right up to him.

Ember is a good name for a tortie who arrived looking like that, and finally being allowed to pet her a little is the detail that shows how far she has come. Worm and flea treatment first is the right order. How long before she started coming into the garden on purpose rather than by accident?

not long at all. She adopted me quickly. she also brought me a dead bird, a sacrifice considering how hungry she was.
