Oh this is hard for a reader of fantasy and science fiction. Should it be Barsoom? the Federation? the Herald world of Mercedes Lackey? the Forgotten Realms from D&D?
I think for myself it would be Pern. I so want to fly on a snarky telepathic dragon that can go between.

Most fun? Probably Discworld (GNU Sir Pterry), if only for the manic politics and street scene of Ankh-Morpork and the drunken brawls at the Mended Drum.
Followed by a trip over to the Dragonlance world of Krynn, some spiced potatoes and ale in Solace, and a quiet but very educational staycation at the Tower of High Sorcery in Palanthas. 😀
