Our garden is doing well this year. My irises are finally up and lovely. The red/white rose is one we’ve had for years.
The black iris is a mysterious arrival. I’ve never planted any.

ain’t it though? 🙂 I was looking out in my garden, saw it and was “what the hell?????” I thought it was maybe a bat. So, it’s in a an area I’ve never planted any iris nor have I ever planted a black one. When you are right beside it, you can just see a little purple highlighting.

heh, someone must have 🙂 I always keep quite a lovely selection of poisonous plants in it, jimson weed, monkshood, daffodils, rhododendrons, etc.
