Not So Polite Dinner Conversation – and more deceit from christians

The christians at “Does God exist?” are still at their set of lies about atheists.
Here’s my response:

I think it is safe to say that some choose atheism because they don’t want to follow the moral standards of Christianity. By rejecting God, they can reject His moral standards without pangs of conscience. Living immorally becomes easier when we can pretend that there is no higher authority who sets standards of moral conduct. “

It’s great to see Christians lie about atheists. Nothing does a job better to show your religion is worthless than you ignoring your own god.

People don’t choose atheism. We conclude that there isno evidence for your god, just like you conclude that there is no evidence for any other god but yours.

Unsurprisingly, Christians do love to lie and claim we are atheists because we don’t’ want to follow their moral standards. They aren’t any god’s since christians don’t’ agree and not one can show that their version is god approved.

Atheists not only refuse to believe in God, but they also think that faith is a negative factor in society. “

Yep, atheists often think these religions are harmful since they are demonstrably harmful with their advocation of hate and ignorance.

Christians aren’t the only source of orphanages, hospitals, etc and those that are run by religions often cause harm, like forcing women to do what they want, not what the woman wants. The same holds for folks in the LGBT+ community.

” Interestingly, in some Muslim-dominated countries such as Pakistan and Indonesia, 98% to 99% say that a person must believe in God to be moral.”

And lovely example of how morality isn’t objective at all since christains and muslims dont’ agree on their god or their morality.

As for charitable organizations, christians donate to themselves far more than they donate to others.

“Even in Russia, only 4% of the population claims atheism. Could that be because the people of those countries lived for years under atheism, and they understand its consequences?”

Yep, lots of christians in eastern european countries. Funny how my former church is wasting money trying to convert them from orthodoxy to protestantism. It’s great how you theists can’t agree.

It’s great when chrsitians try to lie and claim oooh, maybe atheists aren’t popular in eastern european countires becuase they were atheists. Nope, it’s because they now have a choice, and that still doesn’t mean christainity is beneficial or true.

The answer is complex and the Christian tries to lie and claim it is not with their attempts to say atheists just want to “sin”.

  1. Right. I was Catholic. The original Christian religion founded by JC himself. The morality is very clear in the Catechism (that is what it is for).

Must go to Mass on Sunday and may go every day. Must take Communion and must believe it is the ACTUAL body and blood of JC.

Confession. Sacraments. Masturbation and ANY form of birth control are no-no’s, other than the rhythm method. Calling priests Father. Holy water. Saints. Purgation. Statues and icons. I could go on.

I say all the Protectants (esp. Methodists and Episcopalians and Unitarians) are rejecting JC and His church and His morality so they can masturbate while JC watches and not go to Hell. They are rejecting the true church and the true way to God and the ONLY path (through the Church [as in Catholic]) to eternal wonderfulness.

These clones (or clowns if you like) write this shit for people who are not atheists. It is not for us. And you are 100% right. They are lies.

I could do what ever (to whoever) I wanted when I was a practicing Christian. If I was Protestant, I could always ask forgiveness. Done. Catholics are not mostly the same, but there is still confession.

    Halleluiah!!! 🙂

    1. heh. and I was told that you catholics were just horrible, and that us presbyterians were the chosen (and later as my church was kicked out of hte presbytery, free will was claimed). jesus was just this weird sweet bread adn grape juice, and well, all of that sex stuff was much the same, but rarely even mentioned.

apologetics are for the cult, to keep the cultists not questioning.

  2. Same old crap from the same old x-ians.

They cannot believe we have weighed the evidence, seen that they have none, and base our position of unbelief upon that. So, they make up strawman atheists that they can feel superior to.

Lies, isn’t there something about lying in that ignorant book they never read?

  3. Even if it is true, “you’re an atheist because you just want to sin” is a horrible argument: “you don’t believe in god because you want to do something my god says you shouldn’t do.” We can all throw those kinds of arguments back and forth at each other forever and get nowhere.
